Sound Medicine Circle Workshop with Vishesh Kalimero and Anja Ha Oterhals

Sound Medicine Circle Workshop

Intuitive Singing

Explore a new relationship with your singing voice - for musicians & nonmusicians alike.

Singing is the first musical instrument known to man, being the most instinctive way to express any kind of emotion that we feel in the moment. Instead of trying to sing songs we will dive within and sing without any lyrics to access an intuitive expression and self-exploration through the voice.

Throat Singing

An intense and funny workshop where we push, pull, contract & expand the vocal cords to access the throat singing voice.

In the process we end up discovering many sounds - strange, scary and hilarious at the same time. A workshop for everyone who experiences a primal calling when they hear Throat singing from Mongolia, Siberia or of the Inuit.

Learn Singing bowl Healing

Learn how to use Tibetan Bowls for self-healing and share this magical resonance with others.

We shall acquaint ourselves with:

Producing various sounds;

Clearing the space;

Scanning for blockages;

Giving a cleanse;

Recharging the energy body;

Using our intuition;

After a group session, we will engage in one-on-one sessions. Through this, we will know how to hold space for each other and understand the different possibilities of how to approach a private healing session.

Tibetan bowls will be provided but if you have your own then please bring them along.

Sound Ceremony

Immerse your sub-conscious mind in an elusive landscape with a massage from bowls, bells and drums in an intimate and sacred space.

Led by Vishesh Kalimero and Anja Ha Oterhals.

Anja Ha Oterhals is the founder of Down to Earth. She has been working with healing and energy work for the last 12 years under the name Cosmic play.

Himalayan Medicine Stories

The best way to share a teaching is through a story. In this circle we will touch upon the fundamentals and principles of healing as seen in the shamanic traditions from the Eastern Himalayas through ceremonial storytelling.

The elders say that there are two ways to transform - one is to sit like a rock (the way of the grandfather) and one is to flow like the river (the way of the grandmother).

We will discuss these traditional practices and their wisdom, and the different ways in which stories can be worked with. We will explore the stories both intuitively, experientially - embarking on an inner guided journey to the rhythm of the drum, and intellectually, discussing the stories in a circle.
