Urban Retreat & Certified Yoga Foundation Training
This 4-day immersion is both a deeply restorative urban retreat and a certified Yoga Foundation Training, designed for curious beginners and experienced practitioners alike.

Certified training hours (1 day = 6 hours, 4 days = 24 hours)

Certification & Membership:
As a registered student of the Northern Light Yoga Academy, this program grants you 6 certified study hours per day. When you study with us, you receive:
1 free membership day per study hour.
That means you receive 24 days of FREE access to our studio Classes and Events when joining the full training.
Membership days must be used consecutively and activated within 6 months after the training.

Mats is an experienced yoga teacher with a deep background in mindfulness-based movement, functional anatomy, and somatic awareness. His teaching style is grounded, clear, and rooted in safety, presence, and personal inquiry. Mats brings a calm and stabilizing energy to the space, guiding participants toward greater self-understanding and body wisdom.

Massimo is a senior teacher of classical Haṭha Yoga with over 25 years of experience. Trained in India and Europe, he brings depth, precision, and authenticity to his teachings. Massimo’s work blends traditional yogic wisdom with a modern understanding of the body–mind connection, offering students a clear and balanced path into the heart of yoga practice.

Anand is the founder of Northern Light Yoga Academy and a dedicated teacher of classical yoga, Naad Yoga (sound), Kundalini Yoga, and meditative movement. With a background in expressive arts, philosophy, and energy work, Anand’s approach is integrative, poetic, and deeply transformative. He emphasizes authenticity, embodiment, and the alchemical process of personal growth.

Salila is a teacher of Kundalini Yoga and feminine embodiment practices, known for her intuitive, heart-centered guidance and her deep understanding of subtle body philosophy.
