Kundalini Yoga Intensive - Release and Relaxation into Self with Anniken Mikkelborg
Autumn brings a unique opportunity for transformation through letting go
Our ego constantly creates ideas, stories and fantasies for how we want things to be, which are often the result of thought patterns that were formed from experiences and traumas in our childhood. This settles in the body as pain/blockages.
By opening up and letting the energy flow, you peel away layer by layer all the notions the ego has created for you as a form of protection. Until you come into the core of yourself, where your natural existence of peace and joy is. This is a constant process we do again and again, and the light of the soul shines stronger and stronger.
We will practice various powerful kriyas, where you will have the opportunity to dive deep into yourself, bring awareness to what lies in the subconscious and release energetic blockages that have accumulated over time.
There will be 5 sessions that will take you on a journey through various emotions we experience as humans. Here is a unique opportunity to be able to let go of what weighs you down and keeps you from living out your true self.
The Kriyas will be taught full time, which will challenge you physically, emotionally and mentally. There will be longer exercises and meditations in some of the kriyas, where you develop and strengthen your meditative mind and are able to observe what’s moving within you and allow what ever comes up to be released.
During extended rest, you receive healing vibrations from the Gong, which support the integration of the practice and take you deep into your inner self.
We finish with mantra meditations that give you the experience and depth of yourself as a soul. Mantra cuts through the thought patterns of the mind, strengthens and balances the nervous system, opens up new perspectives and brings you into harmony with yourself and in meeting the world around you.
* Week 1 - 7. September
Relax and Release Fear
We need fear for our survival, but if it gets the better of it, it is limiting. Fear of losing, of not having enough, of not having control, is the ego's way of protecting itself. These are also mechanisms that often come from inheritance and upbringing, where traumatic events lead to anxiety and mistrust.
Trust is the natural being of your soul. But if our foundation, our footing, has been pulled out from under us, we lose ourselves in fear and seek to survive by any means necessary. This tends to lead to a series of situations where you try to cling to something stable that you can have control over, but which in reality you cannot have control over.
As humans we live in constant change, when we hold on to something it does not get the opportunity to develop. With selftrust comes flexibility, which is necessary to live in harmony in our ever-changing physical world. By letting go of fear, you can relax within yourself and open your peaceful heart to acceptance of what is.
